There are internships open to students who:

  • Enrollment in a full-time degree program for internship length or OECD work discipline in a specific area.
  • Available for a minimum of the one-month internship.
  • Excellent command of one of OECD’s two official languages (English and French) and ability to understand or learn the other language.
  • The benefit will be the experience of other languages used in OECD.
  • Possess good quantitative and IT skills.
  • Demonstrate exceptional skills in drafting and communication.
  • They are happy to work in team settings that are comprehensive and multinational.

OECD internship programs in Europe are open throughout the year. If your application is not shortlisted, the next vacant dates are:

1 June 2024.

  • Applicants must apply through an online internship program.
  • Applicants must submit a cover letter with the address of the internship office.
  • Following documents along with the online application.
  • Scan a copy of your passport
  • Certificate for full-time students enrolled in an educational institution.
  • Insurance
  • A scanned version of a visa or work permit
  • French bank account details. (This will be required after completion of work in OCED)
  • After the screening process, shortlisted applicants should be available with OECD for further processing.
  • Finalists will be invited for interviews or written tests. (Telephone interview)
  • Only selected trainees will receive a confirmation email.

If the applicant does not receive the email within 3 months of sending the application, it means that the applicant is not included in the final list. The applicant should try the next deadline.
